About

My parents, siblings, and I immigrated to America from Afghanistan in the early 90’s in search of better opportunities.

I grew up in San Diego, studied at San Diego State University, and went into the corporate world after I graduated school. While going to school, I loved hosting dinner parties with my family & friends, making kabobs on the grill and other street food. 10 years later, I realized this was my passion.

In 2020, COVID hit and changed my outlook on life. I left my corporate job to go after my passion in food by starting a business. Our food is Urban-Afghan with a middle eastern twist. You’ll find us tying some dishes back to San Diego.

This business is family run; we take pride in what we make for our customers. We create darn good food. We obsess over our customers and their feedback (we read every review we get). We insist on high standards – we pick the top ingredients and shop locally if available.

It’s important to note our food menu is just the beginning and will continue to expand our menu line. Please be sure to stop by!
